Note | Ralph Edward Button, Jr. passed away on Sept. 18, 2011 surrounded by friends and family. He died at the age of 69. Born on May 14, 1942 in Schenectady, N.Y. to the late Ralph Edward and Mildred (Davis) Button Sr., he was a graduate of Albany Business College and an entrepreneur for many years. In 1991, he moved to Bradenton where he was most recently employed as a realtor. Ralph was an avid NASCAR fan, boating and corvette enthusiast. He is survived by his wife, Jean Button, four daughters, Janice (Kevin) Yant, Julie (Larry) Park, Carol (Mark) Price, and Kimberly (Chuck Butler) Button, one son, Keith Button, one sister, Barbara Mereness, and one brother, Bruce Button. Referred to by his grandchildren as "O Great One", he leaves behind eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A celebration of his life is planned at their home, 348 46th Court E., Bradenton, on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 1 p.m. His request was that all condolences be expressed with cards. The family is sincerely thankful to all who have been so loving and supportive. |
