Amanda Zito was born and raised in Western Montana and spent her childhood on her family’s ranch. She moved to Portland, Oregon in 2010 to attend the Pacific Northwest College of Art where she earned a BFA in Illustration and finished her Tattoo Apprenticeship. She spends her free time driving as far away from the city as humanly possible and pining for home.
She started riding in 2012, after moving to Portland. She decided that if she couldn't ride her horses regularly anymore, a motorcycle was the natural next step. Not to mention her habit of running away from the city was getting a little expensive in just a car.
She currently owns five beautiful motorcycles; Lazarus, a 1980 Suzuki 850gl, Hephaestus a 2005 Honda Shadow Spirit 750, Paul Bunyan a project 1972 Honda CB175, Briareos Hecatonchires a 2016 Honda CB500xa, and a Batavus Moped named Daedalus.

My Motorcycle Misadventures began when I was 14 years old in rural North Carolina. I identified the broken down old Honda enduro in the barn as my escape vehicle and my dad said "If you can fix it you can ride it." He helped me do just that and I rode through the tobacco fields to the woods and the creek and to the edge of town and back almost daily, sometimes falling down and sometimes breaking down, and either fixing it or walking it home.

Ionut (John) Florea & Ana Hogas. Ana & Jon motorcycled or cycled to 77 countries on 3 continents, in a quest to see the world as it is.
We are John and Ana, and for us, this ride is not a race. We travel by motorcycle and live in a 4 sqm tent. We love to travel to remote places, meet people, eat daunting meals, take photos, and share our experiences with you.
From June 2011 to August 2012 we toured Africa for 14 months and 55,000 km across 29 countries. This adventure is part of the on-going journey we like to call Into The World. Since our return we exhibited our photographs, spoke about our travels to a wide audience, and contributed to several publications. In 2013 we have released Part 1 of “Crazy Oyibo”, an ebook about our African trip. Download it, and then support the release of the entire story on paperback.

About Noraly
I’m a 31-year old, Dutch, solo-female traveler - currently on a mission to travel the world by motorbike!
How it all started?
At age 23, I finished my MSc. degree in Geochemistry. I left for Australia to collect geochemical samples for the PhD research which was going to kick off as soon as I would return. It all turned out differently. Not wanting to go back to Holland, I ended up working in gold mining - became rich and backpacked solo around the world for 2 years.
Completely broke and homeless I returned to Holland to find a job again. The following 5 years I worked for an international contractor and did the craziest projects from the Bahama's and Brazil, all the way to Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Morocco and many places in between. But working in all these different countries was never the same as being a full-time traveler. So I made a decision: I quit my job, sold my stuff and hit the road again!
This time though - I am traveling by motorbike!

We are the Moss Family! In May of 2015, after more than a year of planning, we sold our home and packed up what we had left into an RV. Living with less has been an exciting journey that has opened our eyes to what the world can offer if we are not hiding behind so much stuff. We are still stuffaholics, but hope this journey will help us focus on what matters most in life...relationships.

C.S. (Sean) and Kristy Michael are world travelers of sorts, having collected passport stamps in faraway places like Moldova, Poland, Guatemala, Argentina, and Japan. But none of that globetrotting prepared the couple for their ultimate adventure together: owning an RV!
After getting married in the Florida Keys, they spent their wedding night in their newly purchased recreational vehicle — a 25-foot Airstream travel trailer. Instead of jaunting off to honeymoon on a posh Pacific island, the newlyweds hitched up their trusty Ford diesel truck (nicknamed “SEEMORE”) and started exploring America.
Their “long long honeymoon” journey has stretched over 100,000 miles and 49 States, ranging from Key West (the southernmost point in the United States) all the way up to Fairbanks, Alaska. They have camped in every conceivable environment, from scenic national parks to less-than-exotic asphalt parking lots.

Travel has always been my passion, so I usually spent weekends, vacations and holidays somewhere other than home. Living in South Dakota creates a true appreciation for wide open spaces. We have beautiful skies in that part of the world. But there are lots of beautiful places in the world - beaches, mountains, prairies........so I've decided to go travel for a while.
This is a sort of journal for my travels and experiences. I'm hopeful you enjoy the ride.

We are Michnus and Elsebie, GenX’ers born and bred South African products. Not known to follow or even believe our own advice. Our passions are motorcycle overland travel, amateurish photography, drinking beer and hit up friendships with quirky people. However, we love to share stories and inspiration with others from our motorcycle trips.
Our initial trip in 2010 was a 6-month expedition through Africa, we only made it to Ethiopia. The moto-adv-travel bug bit us hard and we decided come hell or high water will try and do it on a more permanent basis. We threw caution to the wind, sold the family pets and mom, hit the road motorcycling on a semi-permanent basis to this day. If the bones, wealth and health last we can continue motorbiking and explore more of this wonderful rock we live on.
Why do we do it? Our odyssey is not to set records, or a quick passing through to get the passport stamp.

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana in the Midwest of the United States, Sherri grew up in suburbia. As the middle child of three, Sherri Jo went on to college, and eventually ended up working for her family business. But all the way through college and in her early working life there was a yearning for adventure that would not go away.
Scratching the itch for Adventure…
Sherri Jo wanted to travel the world and had to work out a way to do that. A strong believer in fate, she met a man who offered an opportunity to join him on a new custom built yacht intending to sail the Pacific Islands for a non-specified period of time.
This seemed like an opportunity for the adventure travel she had been yearning for – so she sold her house in Indiana and much to her family’s dismay at seeing her go, packed her bags and headed down under to begin her new adventure. This fateful decision took her on a journey around the islands with a documentary film crew and the adventure of a lifetime. Along the way she fell in love with Australia, in particular South Australia, and has spent much of the last 10 years living there. To seal her fate, Sherri Jo then became an Australian citizen. Aussie Aussie Aussie – oi oi oi!
After this long adventure, Sherri Jo was back in the workforce enjoying life and the fruits of her labor, when she wondered if this is all there is. After several months of researching her next move to start a new business, an inspired idea popped in to her head. Forget the business ideas, why not ride a motorcycle around the world? What? She doesn’t even OWN a motorcycle! Small details.
So in 2010, the “Because I Can World Tour” was born. This great adventure took Sherri Jo on a solo tour though 49 countries, 138,000 km over the next 3 1/2 years.
